Say it.
Don't type it.
ViiPing is voice-only texting. Hold, talk for up to 15 seconds, let go. They hear your tone, your urgency and your humor, not just your words.
Down the hall or across the globe. Private, invite-only networks.
Try it: press and hold the mic.
Most of what a message means lives in how it's said
Text strips the tone out. A call keeps it, but interrupts. ViiPing sits in between.
Text loses meaning
Short replies read as curt. Jokes read as anger. Urgency doesn't come through.
Calls cost attention
Both people have to stop at the same moment, for something that takes ten seconds to say.
Voice notes get buried
In chat apps they're a side feature, mixed into a crowded inbox, open to anyone with your number.
Hold. Talk. Release.
No dialing, no ringing, no waiting for someone to pick up.
Hold
Open a person or group and press the mic. A countdown shows the seconds left.
Talk
Say it in 15 seconds or less. Changed your mind? Cancel, and nothing is sent.
Release
It sends when you let go. An optional 2-second "Wait, don't send" catches second thoughts.
Chime
Their app chimes. One tap to listen, one tap to ping back.
No calls, on purpose. Need to talk? Ping them: "Hey, call me. I have something."
See it liveEverything a quick voice message needs. Nothing it doesn't.
15-second pings
Short by design. Long enough to say it with feeling, short enough to listen to right away.
Auto-send on release
Let go and it's gone. Prefer to review first? Switch to manual send in settings.
"Wait, don't send"
An optional 2-second grace window after you let go, to catch the ping before it leaves.
Chime-only pings
One tap, no words. "Thinking of you." "Ping me back." "I'm here."
Threads, like text
Every conversation in one place, with unplayed markers and a badge on the app icon.
Every device, same app
On your phone's home screen and pinned to your desktop taskbar, with the same controls everywhere.
Listen when it suits you, or hear it the moment it lands
Chime, then listen
A distinct chime tells you a ping arrived. Play it when you're ready.
Hear it as it arrives
Incoming pings play on their own, for everyone or just the people you choose. Great for a desk or a busy shift.
One ping, many people
Send a single ping to the whole office, crew or family.
Small circles that talk all day
Office to office
Front desk to back office, one site to another, without walking over or scheduling a call.
Distributed teams
Remote staff across time zones. Tone carries, and nobody has to be free at the same moment.
Crews on the move
Field crews and event teams spread across a building or a city, coordinating in seconds.
Families
The sound of a voice for the small moments, without the phone tag.
Your circle, your rules
Every ViiPing conversation happens inside a private network. No public directory, no strangers. One person can belong to several networks: family, the office, a client team.
- Invite-only, with admin approval for every new member
- Membership checked on the server for every single ping
- Recordings encrypted in transit and kept in private storage
- Pings auto-delete after 30 days
- 1
Create
Start a network for your family, office or team. You're its admin.
- 2
Invite
Any member shares an invite by text link or QR code.
- 3
Approve
Every request waits in the admin's queue. Nobody joins until the admin says yes.
- 4
Remove
The admin can remove anyone, and their access ends right away.

Questions people ask
How do you say it?
VEE-ping. It's short for "voice ping." The two i's in the logo are two people facing each other.
Can I make calls with ViiPing?
No, on purpose. ViiPing keeps every conversation quick and asynchronous. If you want to talk live, send a ping asking for a call.
How long can a ping be?
Up to 15 seconds. That's enough to say it with feeling and short enough to listen to right away.
Who can reach me?
Only people in your private networks. Every new member is approved by the network's admin, and there's no public directory.
Do I need to download it from an app store?
No. ViiPing installs straight from the web onto your phone's home screen or your computer's taskbar, and works the same on both. Native Android and iPhone apps are planned for Version 2.
